CASRO Announces Election of Board Officers, New Board Members

Port Jefferson, NY – CASRO is pleased to announce the election of its Board officers for 2011 and welcomes two new Board members.

Elected as Chair-elect is Jeffrey Resnick, Global Managing Director, ORC, an Infogroup Company.
Resnick will assume the role of Chair in 2012 following the tenure of 2011 Chair Susan McDonald, CEO of National Analysts Worldwide. Robin B. Arnold, CEO of The Gilmore Research Group, was re-elected as Treasurer and Jude Olinger, CEO of The Olinger Group, was elected as Secretary.
During his 26-year tenure with ORC, Resnick has served a variety of roles but has always maintained his passion for serving the strategic information needs of his clients. He works with many of the world's leading corporations serving as a strategic advisor and trusted information counselor across a range of business issues. His particular area of focus is brand and reputation management, largely for global financial services firms. He was instrumental in founding the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll, recognized globally for its accuracy and objectivity.
Lynette Cooke, CEO of KantarHealth, was re-elected to another three-year term. Joining the Board for three-year terms are Daniel Coates, President of Youth Pulse, Inc. and Jeffrey Miller, President of Burke, Inc.

Prior to KantarHealth, which was created in 2009 by bringing together All Global, Consumer Health Sciences, MattsonJack, TNS Healthcare and Ziment, Cooke was CEO of Ziment Group, a leading global marketing research organization serving the healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Under her leadership the organization achieved impressive growth, including expansion into new businesses and markets in Europe and Asia.

Coates is President of Globalpark USA and a veteran in the online research space. Prior to joining Globalpark, he co-founded and remains active in SurveyU (now Youth Pulse), and held positions as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Polimetrix (acquired by YouGov), Vice President of the Online division of SPSS (acquired by IBM), and a co-founder of PlanetFeedback.com (acquired by Nielsen Online). The first decade of Coates' career was spent founding Interactive divisions at Burke and Millward Brown, as well as the Angus Reid Group (acquired by IPSOS).

Miller has overall responsibility for the operational units at Burke, including the interactive research practice, the account management group, the decision sciences group, and all the technology functions. Miller also directs Burke's research and development initiatives, serves as a member of Burke's executive management committee, sits on Burke's Board of Directors, and is a faculty member of the Burke Institute, the education division of the company. He is past chair of the external advisory board of the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research at the University of Wisconsin.
