Upload your submission using the form below. Multiple submissions are permitted. The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, January 8, 2016.

You will receive an acknowledgment by email that we have received your submission. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, contact us at 631-928-6954.

In addition to a presentation at the conference, a research paper will be required. Please follow the outline below for both the proposal submission and research paper (if your proposal is accepted).

Submitting Your Proposal

Please provide a one- or two-page synopsis of the proposal according to the following layout. Include the information in one document (Word or PDF format). Note: the committee will only review the one document submitted. Do not include web or video links in your document.

1. Title of submission.

2. Summarized description of paper (100 - 125 words).

3. Principal author(s) and proposed presenter(s), including company affiliation, role and a 100-word bio for each author and presenter.

4. A more detailed description of the topic and how the proposal would address the topics outlined in the "call for papers”. Please provide as much detail as you wish to support your submission.

5. Proposed research design or specifics on the case study.

Note: if your proposal is accepted, we require that the proposed presenter(s) remain unchanged.

Our goal is to encourage new research. If your submission is based on past research or if you have or will be presenting the topic at another conference, please disclose it in your submission. Multiple paper submissions are permitted.

We will announce the selected proposals on January 19, 2016

IF YOUR PROPOSAL IS SELECTED

If your proposal is selected you will be asked to present a 20- to 25-minute presentation at the conference.

Conference Registration Fees for Selected Papers/Presenters: To help cover event costs, a special discounted registration fee will apply to presenters and authors. The discounted rates only apply if you stay on-site at the host hotel within CASRO’s room block. Travel and sleeping room costs accrue to the presenter.

In addition to a presentation at the CASRO Digital Research Conference, a paper must be submitted according to the following outline.

Research Paper Submission Process

1. Definition of the issue to be studied and how that issue affects the performance/process of market research or quality of research findings/data.

2. Review of published research on topic
-- What are the unanswered questions?

-- Are there any inconsistencies in the published research?

3. Research design for the study:
-- How many interviews, what questions asked, how the sample would be drawn, etc.

4. Research results
-- Key data tables and observations

5. Conclusions and suggested guidelines / best practices to improve current practice.
-- Comparison of findings with previous research

6. Suggestions for further research

7. Appendix
-- Survey
-- Data Tables
