Soaring 33 stories, the Loews Philadelphia Hotel is a genuine landmark. In fact, this 1930s structure (originally a bank) was the nation’s first skyscraper. Located in the heart of Center City, and just six blocks from the iconic Liberty Bell, you are poised to enjoy a quintessential Philadelphia experience. Spend a moment in the stunning lobby with its original bank vault doors, rare woods, and Cartier clocks, and you’ll immediately appreciate the art in art deco. It’s no wonder this property was recognized as one of the "World’s Best” by Travel + Leisure readers.

Register & Reserve
  • Reserve your room by Friday, May 8 to receive the discounted CASRO rate of $179 per night
  • Contact Reservations at 1-888-575-6397and reference CASRO
Room Reservations/Deadlines: CASRO has reserved a limited number of sleeping rooms at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at a rate of $179 per night. The hotel room/rate reservation deadline is Friday, May 8, however, this rate is only guaranteed aslong as rooms are available in the CASRO room reservation block, so we suggest making your room reservation early. If the room block is full, or it is after May 8, the hotel will take reservations on a rate and space availability basis only. The on-site registration rate applies only to those who stay at the event's host hotel within the CASRO room block. This requires that attendees book their room directly with the hotel (either via phone or online) and reference the CASRO group when doing so. Other methods, such as booking through travel agents or travel websites (Travelocity, Orbitz, etc.) will not allow you to be included in CASRO's contracted block and therefore the on-site registration rate will not apply.Cancellation Policy CASRO reserves theright to release your sleeping room back into the hotel's inventory if you do not register to attend this conference within five days of reserving your room. Should you fail to register for the conference, or if you cancel your conference registration, CASRO will not be responsible for cancelling your hotel room and therefore will not be responsible for any cancellation or no-show fees incurred. CASRO also will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to attendees' inability to travel as a result of inclement weather.

Travel

There are a number of options for getting to the hotel from the Philadelphia International Airport:

Taxi Cab: Expect taxi cab fare to be between $25 and $30 each way and an approximate 15- to 20-minute ride. Taxis are available outside of baggage claim.

Shuttle Service: Shuttle van fare is approximately $10 per person each and is also available outside of baggage claim near Regional Rail R1. Shuttle vans visit multiple hotels en route to the hotel.

SEPTA: Catch the regional railway from the airport to the SEPTA station located across the street from the hotel. Paying the cash fare of $2 (exact fare required) on transit services is the simplest way to ride, however tickets, tokens and passes offer additional savings.
