CASRO Institute for Research Quality Hosts ISO Training for Kantar Health
Friday, May 3, 2013
camaraderie was the focus of a recent ISO Certification training and strategy
session lead by the CASRO Institute for Research Quality (CIRQ) specifically
for Kantar Health staff from across the globe. Conducted in Milan, Italy, the
week-long session brought together key staff from the leading global healthcare
research and advisory firm, which is seeking certification to ISO 20252:2012.
The forum enabled Kantar representatives to collaborate as
they begin to implement the quality standard globally, learn about the standard
and discuss existing procedures and processes that already are in place to
comply with ISO requirements. In addition, they worked together to develop and
refine other processes and procedures needed to formulate a global quality
approach to their research management system.
The resulting Quality Manual they
created will be disseminated as a compilation of corporate requirements
throughout the global Kantar Health network. One of the advantages of
implementing the ISO 20252 research standard and achieving the certification
credential for Kantar Health is that it will be instrumental in ensuring
consistent excellence in client deliverables in every region of the world.
Furthermore, it will enable different regions of Kantar Health to work more
seamlessly when collaborating on projects for global clients. Kantar Health
anticipates that certification will be achieved in the 3rd Quarter
of 2013 or 1st Quarter of 2014.
workshop lead by CIRQ was very productive,” commented Jessica Santos, Global
Compliance and Quality Director of Kantar Health. "Having quality champions
from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and US together in one room receiving
professional training from CIRQ was valuable, and enabled us to really
streamline the decision-making process. I am confident that we will achieve
consistent quality excellence throughout all international operations and our
certification very soon.”
