Project Directors Training Workshop

Objective

This hands-on, two-day workshop is designed especially for project directors and research analysts with less than two years of experience in their position.  Participants will learn about study design, questionnaire design, sampling, and report writing.  Workshop emphasis is on interaction, discussion and peer group learning. The case study method is used in conjunction with course lectures and discussion.  Focused on results and output, this course provides a practical applications approach to study design, questionnaire design, sampling and report writing.

Registration is limited to maximize learning opportunities.

Registration Fees

The registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch on both days and the workshop materials.

Cancellations on or before Thursday, January 12 will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.  Cancellations after January 12 and no-shows will forfeit the entire registration fee, but substitutions can be made at any time.  Please contact CASRO to make a substitution.  The workshop is open to non-members.  Those non-members who apply for membership by January 31, 2006 (and are accepted) will be refunded the difference between the member and non-member rate.  Please contact us for more information.

Hotel Accommodations

To make a room reservation at the Roosevelt Hotel, please call the hotel directly at (888) TEDDY-NY and reference CASRO to receive the CASRO room rate of $219 plus tax per night for a single or double room.  The hotel room reservation deadline is Friday, January 13.  After that date, any unused rooms in the CASRO room block will be released and the hotel will take reservations on a space and rate availability basis only.
