The Workshop will address the following topics: Study Design: Learn how to set objectives for the type of study you are conducting. Past attendees of this workshop commented… - “I really liked having several different speakers. I thought the first day was a good overall review of marketing research, and really enjoyed the interaction and learning experience of the group case study.” - “It was beneficial how everyone discussed the same business case. The second day with Mark Shugoll was excellent. He really made us explore all the options available." - “Very educational with many things that I can apply in my job.” - “Invaluable workshop for new employees.” - “Fun and informative to work in groups.” The workshop includes a networking cocktail reception at the end of Day I so attendees can interact with peers. Registration Pre-registration is required for all attendees and is open through Wednesday, January 16. Walk-in registrations are not permitted. Registration is limited to maximize learning opportunities so be sure to register early. The session begins with a discussion of participants’ goals for the session and perceived barriers to writing great reports/presentations. The session then moves into specific tips for report/presentation writing. Cancellations on or before Tuesday, January 8 will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations after January 8 and no-shows will forfeit the entire registration fee, but substitutions can be made any time up until the day before the conference. This rate is applicable for the nights of Wednesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 17, 2008. The hotel room/rate reservation deadline is Thursday, January 3, 2008. After that date the hotel will take reservations on a space and rate availability basis only. Travel to New York City The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel is located on the East Side of Manhattan and is accessible from NY’s La Guardia and JFK Airports as well as Newark International Airport in New Jersey. All major carriers fly into these airports. Car rental and taxi and limousine services are also available from all airports. New York is also easily accessible via train (Amtrak) from Philadelphia, Boston and Washington D.C.
